She began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2013 as a veterinary assistant and further developed her skills working alongside a veterinary dermatologist starting in 2018. Dr. Ludwig has a special interest in dermatology and enjoys helping pets feel comfortable and healthy in their skin. As a new graduate, she is excited to bring her knowledge and enthusiasm to caring for dogs and cats. She is especially passionate about educating pet parents so they can support their pets’ long-term health and well-being. In her free time, Dr. Ludwig enjoys reading, visiting theme parks, watching movies, and spending time with her two dogs, Bentley and Cooper.

Dr. Adriana Colón, originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a Tuskegee graduate who completed a rotating internship at BluePearl in Tampa and has 11 years of experience practicing veterinary medicine and 2.5 years in specialty practice. Fluent in Spanish, she has special interests in dermatology, surgery, and enhancing pets’ quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, family time, and adventures with her lively dachshund.
Dr. Michael Canfield
Veterinarian
Dr. Michael Canfield, a Mississippi native and former electrician, has 25+ years of experience, earned his DVM from Mississippi State University before completing a dermatology residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic in Tustin, CA. Now a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, he specializes in skin, ear, and hormone-related diseases, as well as surgery and internal medicine. Passionate about both patient care and teaching, Dr. Canfield enjoys sharing knowledge with veterinary professionals locally and nationally.
